This Sunday feels a little extra sweet — and it’s not just the coffee talking. ☕️

It’s because… I just hit Star Seller on Etsy! ✨💥💛

When I launched Rise Up Designs in February, I was hopeful, nervous, and let’s be honest — still figuring out what in the world I was doing.

But I jumped in anyway — heart first, wraps second — and just kept going.

And here we are, not even halfway through the year, with a shiny little purple badge sitting proudly on my Etsy shop.

What Is Star Seller Anyway? ⭐️

It means Etsy noticed the effort:

✅ Fast shipping

✅ Stellar customer service

✅ Glowing reviews

✅ Basically, I’m out here delivering tumblers, bookmarks and joy like a caffeinated crafting fairy.

But what it really means?

It means people see me. They see my work. They love what I’m making. And they keep coming back for more.

What They Don’t See:

  • The glass straws that shattered in a gust of wind at a market (RIP)
  • The order I confused because I got excited and sent someone the wrong sticker (don’t worry, I fixed it!)
  • The panic of realizing my tablecloth was still in the trunk… two minutes before setup
  • The voice in my head that occasionally whispers, “Are you sure you can really do this?”

Y’all — that voice still shows up. But louder than that voice?

The support. The reviews. The reposts. The people who believe in what I’m doing.

That’s what this badge means to me.

It’s Etsy’s way of saying:

“Hey, you’re doing something right.”

Why This Moment Matters 👍🏽

Because it’s so easy to look at how far you have to go.

But sometimes, you need to stop and celebrate how far you’ve already come.

✔️ From my first sale (which may or may not have been to a family member)…

✔️ To custom orders from strangers who now feel like friends…

✔️ To booth setups, sticker drops, and packaging tape tangled in my hair at 11:47 PM…

It’s all part of the journey.

And it’s working.

If you’re a maker, a dream-chaser, or a side hustler squeezing creativity into late nights and early mornings:

You’re doing better than you think.

The broken straws? The flopped designs? The missed posts and quiet sales days?

All part of it.

All normal.

You just keep going.

Because the people who leave the reviews, who like and share your work, who show up in your inbox with kind words — they’re rooting for you.

And you should be rooting for you too.

So today, I’m raising my cup and saying:

Keep rising. The little badge is cute — but the belief behind it? That’s everything.

✨ Flex Friday: Fiesta, Family & a Sparkly Little CEO in Training ✨

Sometimes the biggest wins don’t come from big crowds or big booths… They come from a two-hour craft fair at an elementary school , under paper flowers, surrounded by community, family, and the unexpected magic of handmade joy. This week’s flex? A Fiesta-themed event hosted by my niece Gracie’s school , and y’all — it ended up being everything.
