Sippin’ Sunday – A Grateful Close to a Crafty Season

Image
This weekend was the perfect exhale after an incredible stretch of creativity, connection, and community. On Friday night, I hosted a private wreath party in someone’s home — it was intimate, joyful, and full of laughs. Everyone’s wreaths turned out beautifully, and you could feel the pride in every bow tied and ribbon fluffed. Saturday morning came early, but it was worth it — I hosted a glass wrap craft party at a local church with 12 amazing individuals. Watching them dive into something new, smile through the process, and even say “I think I just found a new hobby!” made my whole day. The church leader was warm and welcoming, and I have a good feeling we’ll get to partner again. Who knows, I may have even found a new church home. This week, I’ll be working just a couple of days before officially shifting into recharge mode — celebrating Thanksgiving, resting up, and soaking in the moments with those I love. Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’re crafting with m...

Flex Friday: Prepping, Balance, and Counting My Blessings ✨

Image
This week has been all about prepping —getting ready for what’s shaping up to be a very full (and festive!) season. 🎄 Tomorrow, I’ve got another wreath party , and I’m so excited to share photos on Sippin’ Sunday! These parties have been such a blessing—each one has brought new faces, laughter, and creativity. It’s been amazing to watch people come together, make something beautiful, and build a little community in the process. That right there feels like a huge win. 💖 But along with the excitement, there’s also the reality of juggling a lot : ✨ Two markets coming up in December ✨ A glass wrap party with a local church next week ✨ My final wreath party before the holiday season wraps up (no pun intended 😉) So, this week’s focus has been simple: prep and pace myself. Taking inventory, organizing supplies, restocking where needed—all while nursing a pesky cold and managing my usual allergy-season migraines. 🫣 The Lesson This Week 💡 Even when things are going well—and espe...

Flex Friday: Success, Inventory, and Staying Ready 🎀✨

Image
Flex Friday this week isn’t loud or flashy — it’s about something that doesn’t always get the spotlight: staying organized so the success can continue. Last weekend, I hosted a wreath party… and it was a huge success. Laughter. Creativity. Women creating something gorgeous with their own hands. My heart was full. 💖 But here’s the part that isn’t glamorous — once the event ended, the work didn’t. I have two more wreath parties over the next two weeks a glass wrap party with a church group two more markets in December (Dec 6 + Dec 10) So as much as I wanted to ride the excitement of the first party forever, this week has been about: ✨ Taking inventory ✨ Organizing supplies ✨ Reordering what’s low (just a few items — nothing major) ✨ Restocking ribbons, wreath frames, and wrap materials ✨ Pre-packing bins so setup is smooth and stress-free Because here’s the truth: Success requires preparation. Fun events only feel effortless when everything behind the scene...

☕ Movin’ Monday: Catching My Breath After a Creative Whirlwind

Image
Last  week was a creative marathon — and every bit of it reminded me why I do what I do. 💛 ✨ We kicked things off with a tween craft party, which was bursting with energy, glitter, and big smiles. ✨ I popped up at a local neighborhood market and made some new connections (and even better — a few future collabs 👀). ✨ And the grand finale? A beautiful wreath-making party with 12 amazing humans — 10 ladies and 2 kids — who made my heart so full. Was it exhausting? Heck yes. Was it worth it? Every single second. There’s something special about creating a space where people can come together, relax, and make something beautiful — and I’m so grateful that this little business gives me the chance to do that over and over again. Next week will be my time to rest and recharge — because we’ve got a big holiday season ahead. But for now, I’m holding on to the joy, the laughter, and the quiet moments in between. Here’s to honoring the hustle and the stillness that follows. I’m movin...

☕ Sippin’ Sunday: The Long Game AND a Great Time

Image
☕  Sippin’ Sunday: The Long Game  and  a Great Time This week, I hosted a wreath party that was creative, joyful, and truly special. It was a smaller group than usual, and to be honest, I wasn’t sure how it would all play out. Normally, I make a little profit from the party itself—but where I usually see the bigger return is from guests purchasing wraps or crafts afterward. That didn’t happen this time. At first, I’ll admit—I was a little bummed. But as the evening unfolded, I realized this party was a win in  so many other ways . ✨ The energy in the room was so fun, relaxed, and creative. ✨ Every guest left with a  gorgeous, completely personalized  wreath. ✨ I left feeling creatively recharged and  so proud  of what we made together. And here’s the exciting part: 💫 Three guests asked about hosting their own craft parties. 💫 One mentioned bringing in a church group to do a group event. 💫 Several others shared ideas and tagged me on socials aft...

Flex Friday: Listening, Pivoting, and Pouring Creativity 🍺✨

Image
This week has been all about listening to my customers and pivoting with purpose . I’ve been busy prepping for my upcoming Wine and Wreaths Craft Party this Saturday (yes, it’s as fun as it sounds! 🍷🎀). But between glue guns, grapevines, and ribbon, something else exciting happened — I got feedback that really made me think. Someone said, “I love your products, but what would I get for a man?” Totally fair question. Most of my items lean toward a fun, colorful, or feminine vibe — wraps, bookmarks, keychains, tumblers — all things that make people smile but might not immediately catch a guy’s eye. So I started thinking: What’s something guys would actually love? Then it hit me: beer mugs. 🍻 So I created a new bundle just in time for the holidays — a custom beer mug featuring their favorite college or pro sports team, paired with a pallet coaster, a handful of peanuts, and wrapped up gift-ready in cellophane. It’s simple, it’s thoughtful, and it totally works. Of course, I h...
