☕ Sippin Sunday: Make It Easy to Remember You

One thing I’ve learned over the past few years is that customers don’t just buy products—they remember brands. As summer markets turn into the busy fall and holiday season, I’ve been looking at every part of my booth asking one question: “If someone walks away without buying today, will they remember my business tomorrow?” This year I committed to making my brand more visible. Not by spending a fortune… But by using tools I already own. I already had my Cricut. I already had my heat press. So I started creating branded table linens, adding my logo to different covers, refreshing my display, and making sure my business name is visible from every angle. Because when someone tells a friend… “You have to check out that booth…” I don’t want them wondering what my business was called. I want them saying: “It was Rise Up Designs.” Your booth is more than a place to sell. It’s your storefront. Every sign… Every table cover… Every display… Every logo… They’re all working for...

Sippin’ Sunday: The Power of the Pivot

Image
When I first started creating, my focus was pretty simple: tumblers, wraps, and learning everything I could about UV DTF products. Like many small business owners, I spent countless hours figuring out designs, testing products, and learning what customers responded to. But something interesting happened along the way. I realized the product wasn’t really the thing. The creativity was. The skill set was. The ability to take an idea and turn it into something meaningful was. For a while, UV DTF decals primarily meant tumblers for me. And while I still love creating them, I started asking myself: What else can I do with the tools I already have? That’s where the fun began. The same UV DTF products I was using on tumblers started showing up on: 📚 Blind Date with a Book bundles 🔖 Beaded bookmarks 🔑 Keychains 👜 Book lover totes 📖 Annotation kits 🎁 Reader gift bundles Instead of learning an entirely new craft, I simply found new ways to use the skills I already had....

☕️ Sippin Sunday: Messages from Krypton (and the Craft Table)

A Sippin’ Sunday reflection on identity, small biz ownership, and choosing your message. ⚠️ Heads up : This post contains a pretty big spoiler from the new Superman movie. So if you haven’t seen it yet and plan to — go sip your iced coffee, buy your movie ticket, and come back later. I won’t be mad. Pinky promise. This Sunday I’m sipping on a protein iced latte with sugar free creamer, staring at my wrap orders and thinking about… Superman’s parents. (Yes, this is where we are now. Go with it.) 🛸 The Message from Krypton In the movie, Superman finds this old holographic message from his Kryptonian parents. At first, it’s beautiful: "Be a light. Protect this world. Lead with purpose." I was like: YES. King behavior. Give us legacy. Give us hope. But later — plot twist — the rest of the message plays. And let me tell you, it’s giving... red flag energy. Suddenly it’s: "Rule over these weak people. Take multiple wives. Spread your Kryptonian DNA far and wide....

☕ Sippin’ Sunday: When Doubt Creeps In 💭💛

You ever look around at all the progress you’ve made — and still feel like you're trying to keep up with your own dreams? Yeah. Me too. This week, I hit some huge milestones: ✨ My biggest sales month yet ✨ Over 350 followers on Instagram ✨ Month 2 as a Star Seller on Etsy ✨ Launched my mobile craft party website 🎉 And while I am proud (like, squeal-out-loud proud), I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t also… a little overwhelmed. Because sometimes, right behind the “Wow, I’m doing it!” feeling is a sneaky little voice that says: “Can you really keep this up?” “Is this too much?” “What if the next thing flops?” Here’s the thing I’m learning: Doubt doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It just means you’re doing something that matters. 💛 I think it’s okay — healthy even — to pause and admit, “Hey, this is a lot.” Because chasing your dreams while working a full-time job, nurturing your creativity, showing up for your family, and managing all the things? That’s not easy....

🎉 My First Mobile Craft Party Was a Success (and Yes, I’m Still Smiling About It)

This past Saturday, I officially launched something I’ve been dreaming about for a while: my first mobile crafting party —aka:  Wrap & Rise Craft Parties ! 🥳🖌️✨ I packed up tumblers, keychains, bookmarks, UVDTF wraps, supplies, and snacks 🍷🧀, and brought the whole creative experience  to  a group of amazing women… and y’all—it was  magic .  💫 💕 Here’s What Made It So Special: It was chill. 😌 It was fun. 🎶 It was wine, snacks, music, and laughter. 🍷🍓🎉 But most of all—it was  creative.  🎨✨ Everyone got to: Pick their own tumbler wrap  🥤 Choose their keychain design  🔑 Make a custom bookmark  📖 ...and bring their vision to life. The best part? They  loved  that it was hands-on. I kept hearing things like: “This was so fun - oh, this one is sooooo you!” “I didn’t know I was this creative!” “I love that we got to make something ourselves.” That - right there? That’s why I wanted to do this in the first place. 💖 ?...
