☕ Sippin’ Sunday: Counting On It
You know that little moment of panic when something doesn’t line up quite right? Yeah… that happened this week. 🤦🏻♀️
I was working on fulfilling an order—one of several that came in on the same day (which is so exciting, by the way!)—and as I was packing up the wraps, I realized the inventory count was off. I was short by one.
Now, quality is a huge part of my business. I care about what I ship out. I care about what people receive. And I care about making things right when something’s not.
So I reached out to the customer immediately, explained what happened, and offered a replacement option. Thankfully, they were so understanding and we got it resolved quickly—no drama, just mutual respect and good communication.
But it got me thinking:
✨ We can’t always be perfect.
✨ But we can always be proactive.
Whether it’s a miscount, a missing item, or something that just didn’t turn out quite right, reaching out quickly and honestly makes all the difference. That transparency builds trust—and to me, that’s more important than pretending everything’s flawless.
So today, I’m sipping on a little reminder: check your inventory (twice 😅), trust your gut, and always lead with honesty. Your customers will appreciate it more than you know. 💙💛
