We’re heading into that magical, chaotic stretch of the year when all the things happen at once:

  • And yes… summer is peeking around the corner

💡 What I’ve Learned (Sometimes the Hard Way):

Running my Etsy shop while also working full-time has taught me that you can’t wait until the week of to start promoting seasonal gifts.

People are already searching, favoriting, adding to cart—and Etsy’s algorithm? She prefers the planners.

The early birds.

The “I posted it three weeks ago and pinned it twice” crowd.

✏️ Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6–10, 2024)

Start posting: Mid-April

Gift ideas: Name tumblers, cute little bundles, custom tags, gift-ready cups with sweet notes

💐 Mother’s Day (May 12, 2024)

Start posting: Now through early May

Vibes: Sentimental, personalized, something that says “you’re the heart of this whole circus”

🎓 Graduation Season (Late May–June)

Start posting: Late April (or sooner!)

Think: Classy, funny, or motivational—tumblers, bookmarks, keepsakes, or “adulting starter kits”

👔 Father’s Day (June 16, 2024)

Start posting: Mid-May

Focus: Cool, practical gifts that say “I didn’t get this at the gas station, Dad!”

🎯 This Isn’t Just About Sales

Even if you’re not selling anything, it’s worth remembering:

  • These are moments to say thanks, show up, and celebrate people you care about.
  • And if you are a seller like me? You’re not just making things—
  • You’re helping someone give a meaningful gift. That matters.

✨ Flex Friday: Fiesta, Family & a Sparkly Little CEO in Training ✨

Sometimes the biggest wins don’t come from big crowds or big booths… They come from a two-hour craft fair at an elementary school , under paper flowers, surrounded by community, family, and the unexpected magic of handmade joy.
