π¦ Missed the Blog, But Not the Message: Let’s Talk About Selling in Multiple Spaces π¬π±
Okay, so real talk — I missed my usual Tuesday blog post. π¬ Life got lifey, and between packaging orders, updating listings, and pretending not to be distracted by TikTok, I blinked and it was already Wednesday.
But hey — just because I missed a day doesn’t mean I missed the message. This week, I’ve been reflecting on something important: how and where I’m showing up as a small business owner.
Right now, I’ve got a few platforms in the mix:
-
π Etsy — where my wraps, UVDTF stickers, and print-on-demand products live.
-
π My Website — home to my mobile craft party kits and premade glassware.
-
π² Instagram & TikTok — where I’ve started posting product reels, behind-the-scenes moments, and getting more direct feedback.
So why does this matter?
Because the more I experiment, the more I realize:
not every customer shops the same way.
Some people are Etsy loyalists. Others want the flexibility of buying from a link in bio or just tapping “shop now” after watching a 12-second reel.
And as a small business owner, I’ve learned that expanding where you show up can expand your impact. Not overnight. Not all at once. But intentionally.
π‘ A few takeaways I’m holding onto:
-
Don’t stress about being everywhere — start where you’re strong and grow from there.
-
Use each platform for what it’s good at: Etsy for discoverability, your website for control, and social for connection.
-
Repetition is your friend — you can share the same product across all platforms, just tweak the message and style.
-
And if you miss a post? Grace over guilt. You’re doing great.
Now I’m off to go plan my next wrap reel and maybe take a walk because — let’s be honest — I’ve earned it. π
Until next time...
Jecca
