☕ Sippin’ Sunday: When Doubt Creeps In πŸ’πŸ’›

You ever look around at all the progress you’ve made — and still feel like you're trying to keep up with your own dreams? Yeah. Me too. This week, I hit some huge milestones: ✨ My biggest sales month yet ✨ Over 350 followers on Instagram ✨ Month 2 as a Star Seller on Etsy ✨ Launched my mobile craft party website πŸŽ‰ And while I am proud (like, squeal-out-loud proud), I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t also… a little overwhelmed. Because sometimes, right behind the “Wow, I’m doing it!” feeling is a sneaky little voice that says: “Can you really keep this up?” “Is this too much?” “What if the next thing flops?” Here’s the thing I’m learning: Doubt doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It just means you’re doing something that matters. πŸ’› I think it’s okay — healthy even — to pause and admit, “Hey, this is a lot.” Because chasing your dreams while working a full-time job, nurturing your creativity, showing up for your family, and managing all the things? That’s not easy....

Flex Friday: The Glow Up Gets Messy (and That’s OK) πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ’›

This month has been one for the books — and by “books,” I mean the messy, half-filled planner I keep swearing I’ll update. πŸ˜‚ But for real, check this out: 🌟 Biggest sales month to date! (cue the confetti… and maybe a mild panic attack) 🌟 350+ Instagram followers — hi, friends! You’re the real ones. 🌟 Month 2 as a Star Seller on Etsy — still pinching myself πŸ… 🌟 Launched my Wrap & Rise Mobile Craft Party website — because apparently sleep is optional when you’re chasing dreams πŸ˜… And while I could post the polished version with soft lighting and filter-perfect photos… let’s be real for a second. ✨ I’ve knocked over a tray of glasses thanks to a rogue gust of wind. ✨ I’ve confused two orders and had to channel my inner Sherlock to fix it. ✨ One of my glass straws shattered mid-wrap — RIP, lil’ buddy. ✨ And yes, I’ve stared at the screen wondering if I can juggle it all without turning into a walking UVDTF sticker. But here’s what I’ve learned: You can be wi...

πŸ“¦ Missed the Blog, But Not the Message: Let’s Talk About Selling in Multiple Spaces πŸ’¬πŸ“±

Okay, so real talk — I missed my usual Tuesday blog post. 😬 Life got lifey, and between packaging orders, updating listings, and pretending not to be distracted by TikTok, I blinked and it was already Wednesday. But hey — just because I missed a day doesn’t mean I missed the message. This week, I’ve been reflecting on something important: how and where I’m showing up as a small business owner. Right now, I’ve got a few platforms in the mix: πŸ› Etsy — where my wraps, UVDTF stickers, and print-on-demand products live. 🌐 My Website — home to my mobile craft party kits and premade glassware. πŸ“² Instagram & TikTok — where I’ve started posting product reels, behind-the-scenes moments, and getting more direct feedback. So why does this matter? Because the more I experiment, the more I realize: not every customer shops the same way. Some people are Etsy loyalists. Others want the flexibility of buying from a link in bio or just tapping “shop now” after watching a...

☕ Sippin’ Sunday: πŸŽ“ Celebrating Milestones, Music & Family Pride πŸ’›

This week’s cup of cafecito comes with a side of graduation glitter, family feels, and a  little  rock ‘n roll. ☕πŸ’ƒπŸ½✨ Let’s start with  Gracie , my little star who just graduated  5th grade ! πŸ’πŸŽ‰ This was no ordinary graduation—she’s part of the very first class to go from Kinder all the way through 5th. From district honor choir to silver medals in roller skating, this girl is already collecting wins like it’s her job. Middle school better  bring it , because Gracie’s coming in hot. πŸ”₯ Then there’s  my nephews, Ricardo and Ralphie , who both graduated in  Laredo, TX  and reminded me that our family doesn’t just show up—we  shine . ✨ πŸŽ“  Ricardo  graduated from  Alexander High School , earning  Magna Cum Laude Honors πŸ‘πŸ½. I didn’t make the ceremony but I  did  attend the celebration—and let me tell you, that party brought so much joy. What made it extra special? His band with his brother  Benny  did ...

πŸ›️ Flex Friday: Clarity Is a Superpower — Knowing Your Customer, Shaping Your Shop 🧠✨

We’ve all heard the tips: 🧼 “Spring clean your Etsy shop.” πŸ” “Audit your listings and keywords.” πŸ“Έ “Make sure your photos are top-tier.” And yes — all of that does matter. But the biggest shift I’ve made in the last 3.5 months? It’s not about aesthetics. It’s about alignment . Let’s Talk Real Etsy Life: Since launching in February, I’ve had a front-row seat to the evolution of my shop. I’ve experimented. I’ve tested. I’ve rolled with it. And here’s what I found: πŸ’‘ Premade glasses and cup kits — these crush it in person. At craft fairs and pop-ups, people love to see, touch, and personalize. They get it instantly and it’s an easy sell. πŸ’‘ UV DTF Wraps and digital-style listings — these sell better online . Etsy is full of DIYers who love the flexibility of customizing their own glassware, and they’re happy to buy just the wrap and add their own spin. That tells me everything I need to know: πŸ›️ The same product doesn’t always work on every platform. The Shift I’m Ma...

πŸ›Ό Creativity & Inspiration Doesn’t Clock Out: Lessons from the Roller Rink ✨

This weekend, I took a break from the hustle of Rise Up Designs to support my niece at her artistic roller-skating competition in Waco, TX — and I came back with something unexpected: A heart full of inspiration… and a phone full of photos and ideas. 😍 I didn’t bring my Cricut, my tumblers, or my sticker stash. What d id I  bring? My eyes, my heart, and a quiet reminder that even when you’re not “on,” creativity doesn’t clock out. What I Noticed from the Sidelines: 🎨 The bright, joyful color palettes in every costume — from neons and glitter to soft pastels and bold contrasts. Instant design inspo. πŸ‘Ÿ The skaters ranged from tiny beginners to full-grown adults — all ages , all abilities , all showing up . πŸ’ͺ🏽 The dedication was unreal. Every spin, every jump, every flourish — the result of months (years!) of practice. I watched families cheer, kids adjust costumes, and competitors walk off after a routine with smiles and tears. And it hit me: This is a whole creative c...

🫑 Sippin’ Still: A Memorial Day Pause

I usually write these posts on Sundays, cup in hand, reflecting on life, creativity, and the rhythm of running a business I love. But this week moved differently—and that’s okay. Today is Monday. Memorial Day. And rather than rush back into the noise of the to-do list, I’m choosing to sit still a little longer. This isn’t a day for advertising or promoting. It’s a day for remembering. For honoring. For holding space for the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in freedom. As I sip slowly this morning, I’m reminded that peace is not something we just stumble into—it’s something others have fought and died for. And while no words are ever enough, gratitude is where we can begin. To the brave souls we’ve lost, and to the families who carry their memory: we honor you. We remember you. We thank you. With a quiet heart, Jecca
