You ever look around at all the progress you’ve made — and still feel like you're trying to keep up with your own dreams? Yeah. Me too. This week, I hit some huge milestones: ✨ My biggest sales month yet ✨ Over 350 followers on Instagram ✨ Month 2 as a Star Seller on Etsy ✨ Launched my mobile craft party website 🎉 And while I am proud (like, squeal-out-loud proud), I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t also… a little overwhelmed. Because sometimes, right behind the “Wow, I’m doing it!” feeling is a sneaky little voice that says: “Can you really keep this up?” “Is this too much?” “What if the next thing flops?” Here’s the thing I’m learning: Doubt doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It just means you’re doing something that matters. 💛 I think it’s okay — healthy even — to pause and admit, “Hey, this is a lot.” Because chasing your dreams while working a full-time job, nurturing your creativity, showing up for your family, and managing all the things? That’s not easy....

This weekend, I took a break from the hustle of Rise Up Designs to support my niece at her artistic roller-skating competition in Waco, TX — and I came back with something unexpected: A heart full of inspiration… and a phone full of photos and ideas. 😍 I didn’t bring my Cricut, my tumblers, or my sticker stash. Instant design inspo. 👟 The skaters ranged from tiny beginners to full-grown adults — all ages , all abilities , all showing up . 💪🏽 The dedication was unreal. Every spin, every jump, every flourish — the result of months (years!) of practice. I watched families cheer, kids adjust costumes, and competitors walk off after a routine with smiles and tears. I usually write these posts on Sundays, cup in hand, reflecting on life, creativity, and the rhythm of running a business I love. But this week moved differently—and that’s okay. Today is Monday. Memorial Day. And rather than rush back into the noise of the to-do list, I’m choosing to sit still a little longer. This isn’t a day for advertising or promoting. It’s a day for remembering. For honoring. For holding space for the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in freedom. As I sip slowly this morning, I’m reminded that peace is not something we just stumble into—it’s something others have fought and died for.
